Village History Project update
The stage has been reached where draft representations of the proposed 3 heritage boards have been prepared to present to the Council in order to gain approval to continue with the proposal. The boards are shown on the document here following consultation and site visit with Forge Gallery who have prepared the designs.
The boards are in draft form and further refinement will be necessary in both the written content and imagery and Council Members are invited to provide their input to enable the proposal to be approved by Council so enabling the next stage – Public Consultation – to go ahead.
Funding will be sought at the next stage and an initial source is considered to be the Heritage Lottery Fund
but others will be approached including West Lindsey District Council’s Match Funding Grant which would seem particularly appropriate to this proposal.
