The small village of Great Limber is situated on the A18, eight miles west from Grimsby and the eight miles east from Brigg, in the West Lindsey District of Lincolnshire. The majority of local residents look towards the Humber Bank for their services, facilities and employment opportunities. The village is home to a number of properties, significant agricultural land, some business units, a church, nursing home, village hall, shop, play area and village pond.
The total population in the parish is approximately 271 according to the 2011 census. There is an aging population with the largest age range being 45 to 59. There are currently 110 dwellings, the majority being three bed semi detached.
